One example of Classical Conditioning in my life deals with Chinese food.
When I was younger I had Chinese food for the first time, this was followed by vomiting. I probably had the stomach floor of some sort, but now I dislike Chinese food and will not eat it.
My example of Classical Conditioning is quite similar to Kyle's, only it deals with oranges:
When I was quite young, I vomited soon after drinking a glass of orange juice. I was diagnosed with the stomach flu the next day, but I can no longer eat orange flavoured food without getting sick.
My example is very much like Kyle's and Kayla's, it deals with food.
I once had nacho cheese dip from taco bell with some chips, & that same night, i felt horrible after, and stayed sick for the next few days, so i just assumed it was food poising from that. UCS: Flu -> UCR: Illness CS: Nacho cheese -> CR: illness
When I was younger I was going across a "tree bridge" that was at a campground that I was camping at with my family. The tree was very high up and over a creek. As I approached the end of the bridge I slipped and was hanging over the edge. I am now afraid of heights because I was hanging very high off of the ground.
UCS: Falling ----> UCR: Fear CS: Falling at a height ---> CR: Fear of heights
When I was younger my brothers would hold me down and do that spitting thing where you suck it back up. They weren't very good and sucking it up, so it would hit me in the face. I would throw-up afterwards. Now whenever I see spit or saliva I feel like I am going to throw-up.
when i was younger, my aunt brought over a pecan pie for thanksgiving. i ate it and vomited a short while afterword. That night I was completley sick and was convinced it was food poisoning. I still will not eat pecan pie or anything that has peacans.
When I was younger, living in Georgia was stereotyped by having a lot of rain. So even if there is just heavy cloud cover, I get the feeling I'm in Georgia again.
When I was younger I used to love to each lunchables. This is what I always had for lunch. One day I had a spoiled Ham and Cheese cracker Lunchable [without noticing], and I got sick. Since that day I have refused to have any of those lunchales.

When I was little I would wait and listen for the ice cream man. That jingle eventualy became synonymous with ice cream. That means everytime I head "pop goes the Weasel" I would want ice cream.
Everynight when my mom gets home, and pulls into the garage, our dogs come running to her and she gives them a cookie. Now whenever she gets home and the hear the garage door open they go to where their cookies are so thy get one.
When I was a young lad, I had a violent run in with lasagna. I got home from school one day and eat some at my grandmothers from the fridge not knowing it was not any good. I then proceeded to get very sick and needless to say vomited. I still to this day have a problem with eating lasagna or even smelling it.
I know someone that got on the Twillight Zone Tower of Terror ride in Disney's California Adventure; she vomitted three times after that ride. We recently went to California Adventure and we decided to get on the Tower of Terror, even she agreed until we got right in front of the ride, she started getting nauseous and uncomfortable.
Once when I was sick my grandma told me to drink some medicine serum that was cherry flavored to make me feel better. It was absolutely disgusting and it triggered my gag reflexes, but she made me drink the whole bottle. For a whole year after that I couldn’t drink red drinks or anything that tasted like cherry (drinks like gatorade, vitamin water, ect.)because it reminded me of the medicine serum and it made my stomach sick.

My boyfriend used to love purple gatorade but when he recently got really sick he started thowing up the purple gatorade so now whenever he sees or thinks about purple gatorade he thinks about throwing up and the sickness.
I have an allergy to peanuts. But I did not know that until I actually ate some. My face started to get hot, I was getting increasingly itchy, I started to break out in boils, and felt as if I were going to vomit. You know how you taste whatyou smell and vise versa? Well, I am very familiar with how peanuts smell and taste now. And whenever I even smell peanuts, I begin to have the feeling as if I am about to get sick.

After buying a brand new car, we discovered a few problems. My brother took the car on a road trip and when he returned, he complained that there was a strange, whining sound whenever the car reached 80 mph or more. If anyone else had experienced this, they would have learned to drive slower; not my brother.

one day at school when i was in seventh grade i ate a yogurt for break. When i got home i started to get a stomach ache. I thought it was because of the yogurt, but when i continued to be in pain my mom took me to the doctor. It turned out i had appendicitis and i had to get my apendix removed. Ironically the only thing I could eat for a week after my operation was yogurt. Every time I see someone eating yogurt I remember my bad experince with yogurt.

The door of my house is old and makes a weird noise. When this happens my dog comes running toward me and he begains to wag his tail.
